Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 November 2025

1. Who we are

Olimpio (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is an early-access vulnerability assessment tool. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website or get in touch about using the product.

2. What data we collect

We aim to collect as little personal data as possible. At this stage we may collect:

  • Contact details – if you message us on LinkedIn or by email, we receive your name, profile and any information you choose to share.
  • Basic usage information – standard technical logs from our website (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps).

The Olimpio scanner itself is designed to run locally. Scan data and network details are processed on your own machine and are not automatically uploaded to our servers.

3. How we use your data

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to questions, feedback and early-access requests.
  • Improve the website and product based on anonymous usage patterns.
  • Maintain the security and reliability of the service.

4. Legal bases (UK / EU)

Where applicable, we rely on the following legal bases for processing:

  • Legitimate interests – running and improving the website and product.
  • Consent – when you choose to contact us or share information.

5. Retention

We keep contact messages and related information only for as long as necessary to respond and maintain a record of our interactions. Web server logs are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes.

6. Third parties

We may use standard infrastructure providers (for example hosting or analytics services) to operate the website. These providers only receive the minimum data required to deliver their service and are contractually bound to protect it.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain types of processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information from unauthorised access or disclosure. However, no system can be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will always show the current version.

10. Contact

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact us via LinkedIn or by email at hello@olimpio.io.
