Terms of Use
1. Agreement to terms
By accessing the Olimpio website or using any early-access builds of the Olimpio scanner (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Early-access software
Olimpio is currently provided as an experimental, early-access tool. Features may change, break or be removed at any time. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties.
3. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not use Olimpio to:
- Scan systems or networks that you do not own or have explicit permission to test.
- Break any applicable laws, regulations or contractual obligations.
- Interfere with, disrupt or damage third-party systems or data.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements in your jurisdiction.
4. No professional advice
Olimpio is a tool that highlights potential issues based on scan results. It does not replace professional security advice or a full security assessment. You are responsible for reviewing findings and deciding how to act on them.
5. Intellectual property
The Olimpio name, logo, website design and underlying software are owned by the creator of Olimpio and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse engineer the software except where permitted by law.
6. Downloads
When you download an Olimpio executable or installer, you are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own internal purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not resell or provide the software as a service without prior written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental or special damages, or for any loss of data, security breaches or business interruption arising from use of or inability to use the Service.
8. Changes to the Service and these terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms of Use from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
9. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms, you can contact us via LinkedIn or by email at hello@olimpio.io.
